Cadouche Church of Christ, Haiti

For over ten years, we have been investing in God’s Kingdom by helping start and build a congregation in Northern Haiti in the village of Cadouche. Under the leadership of Fonrose Teogene and Calixte Jumenes, the Cadouche Church of Christ has grown from 25 souls to 150. There is a school for nearly 200 children, a community well, and now a church building. The light and love of Jesus Christ is making a huge impact on this once dark little “rum town.”

More About Haiti

Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Even though they claim the distinction and proud heritage of being the first black state to gain their independence, they have continued for many years under the oppression of corrupt leaders. Furthermore, the practice of Voodoo is ingrained in the hearts and minds of the people, and is often mixed with Catholicism and other religious expression. Needless to say, with the poverty and Voodoo and corruption, Haiti is a very dark place.

Praise be to God that the Good News of Jesus is bringing life and hope to this country of beautiful souls. The truth of who God really is and what He offers us through Jesus is changing lives there! Their future is bright!
