The Lord’s Work Grows in Haiti
The Lord continues to grow HIs work in Cadouche, Haiti, as we spread the gospel and help meet the needs of the people there. This small island country in the Carribean is the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere and a foothold of Voodoo. Help us win Haiti for Christ!

Cadouche Church of Christ
In 2006, we partnered with Fonrose Teogene, who

had started a new congregation in the rural town of Cadouche in northern Haiti. This a particularly poor area, even by Haiti standards. Rum stills are the main source of income for the residents, and the local Voodoo doctor holds great sway over the people. The light of the gospel is beginning to penetrate this dark place.

As of 2012, we have now helped the congregation purchase a plot of land, construct a latrine, and build a school with 200 children attending K-6 grades. The Christians in Cadouche have been able to dig a well to give the local people clean water.

The church congregation has quickly grown from 25 to over 125 people. Now, we are in the process of erecting a church building to hold 300 people. Jim Miller and Steve Hoofnagle traveled to Cadouche in the summer of 2012 to encourage the work.

There is much left to do, but due to the generous donations of so many we are well ahead of our long-term timeline. God is good! Please pray for the precious souls of the people of Haiti.
